I stumbled upon K9 Place when I was in a desperate search to find boarding for my dog during the Memorial Day holiday weekend. It just so happens I live 5 minutes away! From the moment they took my initial call to dropping my dog off, I felt so comfortable with all the amazing staff. They treat my dog as if he was their own. He is so much more confident around other dogs and people now! I would 100% recommend K9 Place to everyone! The staff is so professional and kind. I try to send him weekly if I can!

I recently been doing private training sessions and weekly pack walks with Trevor and his staff at K9s Place in Melbourne FL, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the first session, Trevor demonstrated an incredible understanding of canine behavior, coupled with a warm and engaging approach that both my dog and I instantly connected with. The private training sessions were tailored to our specific needs, focusing on obedience and behavior modification that made a noticeable difference from day one. K9 Place is the best!! My dog pulls me into K9 place on Daycare days. The last place I took her (I won't mention who) I had to force her to go. The owner and staff are great and the prices a very reasonable. Their two week board and train program is amazing. I am so happy I found this place and I completely trust them with my Daisy girl.

This place is amazing. I was anxious about leaving my 10 week old puppy anywhere, even for a few hours, but Trevor gave me a tour when I stopped by and you can tell everyone working there truly cares about the dogs. My puppy Ollie is now 16 weeks and has had a blast at several sessions of the Puppy Play and Learn 1/2 day class. We’re looking forward to joining a pack walk and trying out the daycare and boarding options in the future.

If you need training or daycare or even boarding this is the place to go! Trevor and Erica are amazing with animals as well as the staff that you don’t see all of the time! I have 100% trust with them and I know my baby is safe!! They trained my very hyper dog that had severe separation anxiety and he’s a totally different dog!!! He couldn’t even walk on a leash and now I can take him in public!!! Totally worth it!!!

Words cannot describe how thankful I am for K9s place and their incredible trainers. They have seriously worked what feels like a miracle for me and my dog. My dog , Lotti, had struggled with aggression towards people and other dogs for almost 2 years. I had been turned away from other trainers in the past as no one felt comfortable working with her aggression. I began to feel hopeless, as she is my world and I felt like I could no longer even take her outside of my house without her snapping at any given moment. I had also just found out recently that I am having my first child, and I knew if I could not get Lottis aggression under control that I might have had to make the decision of rehoming her, which just even the thought of broke my heart. I desperately called K9s place, and they were able to get me in ASAP for a consultation. We went, and they recommended the two week board and train. As hopeless as I felt, the trainers at K9s place uplifted me and gave me hope that Lotti would change with their amazing program. They got her into the program the following week. Let me tell you, their board and train is worth more than gold. I would do it a million times over again. When I went to pick my dog up on pick up day after the two weeks, I was so anxious to see if she had really changed. When they showed me everything they taught her, all the incredible commands she had learned (sit, down, stay, place, come, heel) , they even brought in another dog to show me that she is now fine with and actually enjoys meeting/ being around other dogs. I couldn’t help but cry when I got to hug my bestfriend again, I didn’t even recognize her and couldn’t believe the miracle they had worked for us. To say I was happy is an understatement. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. I now feel confident in Lottis ability to be around other dogs and humans. I have been able to take my girl for daily walks again, and she now actually LOVES to meet new people and other dogs, and greets them with a wagging tail. I can now take her over to my friends and families houses again. I can take her to pet stores like we used to and let her pick out toys and treats again. She is my ESA so being able to take her on more outings with me means more than you guys will ever know. I feel like I finally have my dog back and I know that I can now trust her 100%. The training has been so easy to keep up with since K9s place completely builds the foundation for you. I cannot believe that my once reactive and aggressive dog is now the complete opposite. She is now easy going, chill, and obedient whenever asked to perform her commands. I cannot thank you guys enough, you seriously changed my life! I recommend this place to anyone with any kind of dog, their slogan any dog any size any problem could not be more true. I would give K9s place a million stars if I could! I will definenly be bringing Lotti back for daycare to continue socializing her, and I will definently be attending pack walks to keep up on her training. From the bottom of my heart, thank you K9s place! I am forever grateful! You guys gave me my dog/ best friend back again and it means more than you will ever know.

My dogs are more confident and happy after going to daycare about once a week at K9s Place. They both LOVE going and are exhausted when they come home, so I know they get lots of playtime. The staff is so friendly, and they take great care to ensure the dogs are safe. Love you all, K9s Crew!

Took our dog Bodhi there for the 2 week board and train. Very impressed with what they accomplished in just 2 weeks! Before the training he wouldn’t even go on a walk with me but now we are doing short runs and he stays right by my side even if a squirrel runs across our path.

Our little Taylor Swift (6 month old lab) gets super excited when she knows we are headed to K9 Place’s daycare. She is very comfortable with the staff, who are very friendly and knowledgeable on dogs. I appreciated very much that they took time to assess her at the beginning, pairing her for playtime with the just the right other pups of age, size and gender (they make sure to be careful since Tay isn’t old enough for spaying yet). We also did the five day day-training for Taylor and they really equipped us with a solid start to keep building on for her training and manners, of which she definitely still remembers and does after several weeks have gone by. We really enjoy being a part of the K9 Place community and have already highly recommended it to other friends with dogs.
Update: Taylor is now over a year old and has made so many more friends at K9. We also participated in the pack walk Trevor puts on and it was really good for Tay in her learning to walk without pulling, to listen, and to avoid distraction. It’s a great opportunity for those looking to get their dogs better on the leash and around others. Trevor has a solid command of dogs and their behavior and is always happy to answer questions I have.
We have also boarded her a couple times, and it’s gone great. They are thorough at intake, and honestly it’s a relief to know my girl is spending time with the staff who loves and knows her, while I’m away. Most importantly, a year later Taylor still gets excited when we pull into the K9 place parking lot! She loves it there!
Board and train obedience two weeks:
- Board and train obedience two weeks $1,500.00 additional weeks $750.00 per week. Board and train aggressive dogs, two week minimum $1,750.00 additional weeks $900.00 per week.
- Day train, 5 day minimum $500.00.
- PAL play and learn for puppies, morning or afternoon session $40 after 14 weeks can handle full day $75.
- Private lessons 50 minutes each $75.00.
- Private lessons at your home $100.00.
- Group lessons (50 minutes) or multiple dogs same family 3 dogs minimum 5, maximum 25.
- Group classes, once a week for 4 weeks.
Boarding:
- Small kennel 2×4 (dogs under 25 lbs only) $34.00/night.
- Crates (for dogs that are crate trained and prefer it) $34.00/night.
- Medium kennel 3×5 (excluding xl breeds) $40.00/night.
- Large suite 5×5 (any size dog) $50.00/ for one dog $35.00/night for additional dog(s).
Daycare:
- Up early if you choose. Full day 8am-5:30pm – $25.00.
- Drop off as early as 7 am for an additional $10.00.
- Stay until from 8am to 6:30pm add $10 or do both early drop and late pickup for $15.00.
- Bulk purchases- 10 days 8am to 5:30 for $225.00.
- Bulk purchases -30 days 8am to 5:30 for $600.00.
