About Us
K9s Place is a family-owned dog boarding, training, daycare, and grooming facility built on a shared love for dogs and a passion for helping them thrive. We’ve been proudly serving Brevard County and its dog community since February 2023, and every day we’re grateful to do what we love.
Our story began with an unruly dog named Buddy. When Eileen—originally from Gloucester, VA and a registered nurse for 15 years—brought Buddy to Trevor for training, neither of them expected it would change the course of their lives. Trevor, a Newton, Massachusetts native, took a calm and intuitive approach that helped Buddy flourish… and soon after, a new partnership was born.
In October 2023, Eileen made the big decision to transition out of nursing and join Trevor full-time at K9s Place. Together, we’ve poured our hearts into creating a safe, structured, and loving environment where dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities can learn, play, and feel at home.
At home, our pack includes our two Belgian Malinois, Storm and Ranger, our sweet (and formerly unruly) Buddy—a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix—and Hank, our oversized Yorkie with an equally oversized personality. With five children between us, ranging from 6 to 36, life is full, lively, and never short on love or laughter.
When we’re not busy caring for dogs, you can usually find us spending time together as a family—cooking, hanging out with our pups, or relaxing on a beach just about anywhere.
At K9s Place, your dog becomes part of our extended family. We’re committed to providing exceptional care, trustworthy training, and a welcoming community for both dogs and their humans. We can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend!

Board
and trains
We will board any size dog. We can accommodate extra small to extra-large breeds. Our accommodations vary from large 5x5 kennels, to 3x5 kennels to 2x4 kennels. We also offer top of the line molded plastic “crates” (Dakota Kennels) for crate trained dogs. Explore our kennel options and pricing to give your dog a home away from home!
Full Service
Dog Training
We are a full service dog training company, handling everything from your 8 week old to any age. We focus on obedience training which is the foundation for all wanted behavior and behavior modification for undesired behavior. We will, in the future, add agility and sport to our list of training services. We have private, semi-private, and group classes for dog training most evening. Private session can occur in the evening and daytime hours. Group classes are offered for different levels of training from beginner to advanced obedience. Private: You, your furry pal, and a dog trainer for 50 minutes. Semi-private: share a session with 1 or 2 other friends and parents. Group: Up to 10 dogs and parents.
