The Tier One Service Dog Foundation is dedicated to transforming the lives of disabled combat veterans by providing highly trained service dogs at no cost.
These dogs are specifically trained to assist with PTSD, and other service-related disabilities, helping veterans regain independence and confidence.
Through rigorous training and careful matching, each dog becomes a loyal companion, offering both practical support and emotional stability at no cost to the veteran.

Our Services
Any Dog. Any Size. Any Problem.
We offer private lessons, group classes, day training, and board and train programs designed to help you and your dog build better obedience, communication, and everyday skills.
Private lessons provide one-on-one time with you, your dog, and a trainer, allowing you to work toward your individual training goals.
Group classes give you and your dog the opportunity to build and practice skills alongside other dogs and handlers in a structured class environment.
With day training, you drop your dog off with us in the morning for focused training with our team and pick them up later that day.
Our board and train programs provide more immersive training, with your dog staying at K9s Place for a designated period while working consistently with our trainers.
Need a safe and comfortable place for your dog while you’re away? K9s Place offers overnight boarding with attentive care and a consistent daily routine.
During their stay, your dog will receive scheduled meals based on your feeding instructions, regular bathroom breaks throughout the day, and a clean, comfortable place to rest.
If your dog requires medication, please include the medication and administration instructions when booking. Medication administration is available for an additional fee.
Additional services, including daycare, may also be added to your dog’s stay for an additional fee.
Give your dog a fun and active day at K9s Place! Our daycare provides supervised group play where dogs can socialize, stay active, and enjoy time with their canine friends.
Daycare is a great option for dogs who enjoy group play and can help provide physical activity, enrichment, and an outlet for their energy while you’re busy.

Play and Learn
These classes are offered in three hour segments in the morning. Drop your 10–16-week-old puppy off for a few hours of our Play and Learn (PAL) program. Puppies are introduced to training in fun ways and are exposed to different objects and noises to socialize and desensitize them. Your puppy will have a blast in class and be learning an abundance of new skills at the same time!

Board and Train
Board and train programs are great opportunities for focused obedience training. Board and trains are most effective in two-week sessions. The K9s Place board and train allows you to drop your dog OR puppy off for a fully immersive two week training program at our facility. This creates a more comprehensive training environment and is well suited for dogs who may need increased supervision or more rigorous training.

What kinds of dogs benefit most from this program?
Aggression is a behavior that is learned, genetic, or innate. When a dog feels threatened or has a lack of confidence, the two responses will be fight or flight. Most dogs will put distance between themselves and the threat, if the threat remains, they will become aggressive.
At K9s place we offer a 3 week aggressive dog board and train. We use a combination of confidence building and desensitizing exercises, as well as, basic obedience training to eliminate the fear and uncertainty that leads to aggression. Once we have established confidence and obedience, we are able to focus on the underlying issues that have caused the aggression in your canine family member.
No one can guarantee 100% success for some dogs that may be totally out of control. At an assessment we will be able to determine how serious the issue is. Three weeks is a minimum for aggressive dogs, it may take longer.

Daycare and Boarding
Our daycare is full day (see our hours in the footer), but you can pick up early if you choose. While here, your dog will join one of three daily play groups to have fun, get exercise, and socialize under careful supervision. Safety is our top priority, so every dog goes through a test day to make sure they can play nice with others.

- Drop off as early as 7 AM for an additional $10
- Pick up as late as 6:30 PM for an additional $10
- All new daycare dogs must complete a Daycare Test prior to regular daycare participation. Daycare Tests are $45
- Dogs older than 6 months must be spayed or neutered

If you find yourself in need of an overnight stay for your pup, K9s place has got you covered! We treat every dog as if they were our own and give them the love and care that they need while you are away! Rest assured that they are receiving top notch service while they are in our care!
While with us, your dog will be fed one to two times per day (depending on owners’ preference), will be administered prescribed medications, and taken out for 5 times daily for bathroom breaks and stretching their legs.
Pet parents are welcome to bring their dog’s bed and toys from home.

Daycare with Group Play – $10/day
Let your dog make some new friends while you’re away!
Your dog must have completed a daycare test day ($45) and be spayed/neutered if older than six months to be eligible. Ineligible dogs can still get some extra one-on-one play time for an additional $15/day.
K9s Place Pack Walks are a positive and rewarding experience to add to your dog’s training journey! Cover all of your pup’s essential needs on Saturday Mornings with our Pack Walks that provide training, socialization, AND exercise! This is an organized community walk that is inclusive to dogs of ALL types and sizes!

Give your dog the spa day they deserve! Our professional dog groomer takes time to make every session calm, safe, and enjoyable (just look at that smile!). From bath & brush to full grooms, services start at $45.
